BuzzFeed Will Soon Have Real Estate Listicles

Coldwell Banker is hoping nostalgic BuzzFeed posts will get shared.

Who can get the kids talking on the tweet machines about real estate? BuzzFeed, that’s who. At least that’s what Coldwell Banker Real Estate is hoping, as they’ve got a partnership with BuzzFeed advertising for custom social content through August. It’s a first both companies — Coldwell Banker hasn’t yet tried this kind of custom content advertising, and BuzzFeed has never worked with a real estate firm.

The deal is that BuzzFeed creates lists that they think their audience of what they call “SuperSharers” will send out into the world, via Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, text, email, etc. The company says that 75 percent of its readers visit the site to find shareable content, and clients who allow them to create custom content “see an average lift of 55 percent in brand affinity and 88 percent in purchase intent.”

So just how is BuzzFeed making Coldwell Banker sexy for the SuperSharers?

Here are the three lists planned so far:

  • 15 Things That Happen When Your Parents Sell Your Childhood Home
  • 25 Homes That’ll Make You Feel Like You’re In A Fairy Tale
  • 74 Thoughts Everyone Has When Buying Their First Home
