Our area’s clubs come with well-groomed greens, spacious ballrooms, attractive amenities, and long histories — many have been around for the last century. (Plus, many also offer all-inclusive packages that make the planning a breeze.) Take a look at some of our favorites below.

This Montgomery County spot offers several charming indoor and outdoor spaces for you and your guests to enjoy. For larger parties, choose the light-filled Conservatory Ballroom (up to 350 guests) – with a grand staircase, a 30-foot waterfall, and a two-story mezzanine. For receptions of up to 150, have dinner and dancing in the vaulted Magnolia Room, which boasts vaulted and cathedral ceilings. You can also host your ceremony or cocktail hour outside, where guests can relax among swan-studded lakes and blossoming wisteria gardens, or in the Monet Garden Room which opens to the outdoors. Contact for pricing.

100 Golf Club Drive, Phoenixville.

This Montgomery County oasis just east of the Schuylkill River boasts some incredible scenery, from their green golf course to their lush floral garden. They have three ceremony options, including a covered outside terrace and poolside settings overlook colorful landscaping, natural rock walls and a cascading waterfall. They also have a huge bridal suite, with plenty of natural light. There is no rental fee for wedding receptions, as the per person entrée price includes all the bells and whistles. Contact for pricing.

Since the opening of the Philmont in Huntingdon Valley in 1906, they’ve been helping couples get hitched in their classic and elegant location. This historic venue features four banquet and event rooms to choose from, including their Grand Ballroom. On a picturesque day, their red-brick patio, which overlooks a swimming pool, offers a fresh breeze. Your guests (up to 300 of them!) can stroll around and take in views of the grounds and well-kept garden area. Packages start at $95 a person.

Woodcrest Country Club offers 178 acres of the green that golfers love, but that will look even better as the backdrop for your wedding photos. Their spaces include the classic Flynn Ballroom, named after William Flynn, the golf course architect who originally crafted the Woodcrest course, and the Fountain Ballroom, which brings in natural light from large windows with views of the eighteenth hole. You can always opt for your cocktail hour or event to be outdoors on the green. Packages begin at $120 per person.

150 Penn Oaks Drive, West Chester.

The rolling hills of the Penn Oaks golf course make for perfect photos, day or night. This West Chester spot boasts pretty indoor and outdoor spaces that can host up to 300 guests for your Big Day. Options abound: the grand ballroom has a large indoor and outdoor terrace; their Wine Room is for more intimate celebrations; their glass-enclosed patio can fit medium-sized groups. Their starting site fee is $1,000, with customizable packages from there.

You don’t have to be a member to enjoy the accommodations at this historic Delaware country club. Have your ceremony and cocktail hour outdoors, then come into the ballroom, with its 20-foot-high ceilings, parquet floors and crystal chandeliers, for a seated dinner (and dancing!) for up to 250 guests. Catering is provided on-site, and they’ll gladly customize packages to fit clients’ needs. Prices start at $102 per person.

Springfield Country Club

The surrounding natural landscape, hydrangea-ringed gazebo and well-manicured golf course at this Delaware County club lend an English-countryside feel to receptions of any size (up to 1,000 people). Indoors, three ballrooms offer a backdrop of stunning chandeliers and a sophisticated palette. Conveniently located just an exit from the Atlantic City Expressway, Linwood offers views of the Scull Bay directly in front of the golf course – and views of the Atlantic City skyline in the distance. Hold your ceremony inside the Grand Ballroom featuring new glass accordion doors and a double-sided fireplace, or outside on their patio. With a ceremony fee of $7 per person, you get a run through of the ceremony the day before and usage of the bridal suite and men’s locker room for up to two hours prior to the big moment. Receptions include cocktail hour and four hours of celebrating. Packages start at $110 per person.

French Creek Golf Club

Stepping foot on this venue feels like entering a charming farmhouse, with a historic springhouse and restored barn as options for your celebrations. The Radnor Valley Country Club, housed in a historic 1907 Georgian-style Main Line estate, makes sure all of the attention is on your wedding by only allowing one event at a time. You can have a peaceful, intimate ceremony followed by cocktails and photos in the immaculately manicured outdoor space, then move your reception indoors, where there’s room for 275 guests for dinner or up to 300 for a cocktail-style reception. Chubb Hotel & Conference Center

The Chubb is a modern and stylist venue just outside city limits, bringing chic décor and furnishings inside, yet offers views of Lafeyette Hill’s rolling landscapes. Hold your ceremony indoors in the Marquis Ballroom, seating 180 guests, or the Lafayette Ballroom that seats 300 guests in a secluded section of the property. If you opt for outdoors, you can choose to view the lush landscape from the Marquis or Lafayette event decks – or a helicopter landing pad that seats 150 with views of the 18-hole golf course. Weddings at the Country House at Bluestone promise to be the classic fairytale you dream about. Hold your reception in the Grand Ballroom featuring floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the golf course and a sparkling chandelier centerpiece. (They also have fun amenities like an outdoor patio and fire pit.) Surrounded by seasonal flowers, the formal outdoor garden is perfect for your ceremony or cocktail hour. After completing $3 million in recent renovations, this venue’s modern ballrooms and breathtaking gardens are worth a second look. Celebrate indoors in the Wedgewood Room, their grand ballroom with space for up to 300 guests, or their Crystal Room, a more intimate settings for up to 150 guests. Both ballrooms featured a large dance floor, chandeliers, and customized uplighting. Head outside to take in nature at the Arbor Gardens, a spacious setting for 300 guests to watch you walk down the aisle (or stone walkway in this case.) The Crystal Gardens are overlooked by two large windows in the private Crystal Ballroom, and feature an elegantly designed stone bench and walkway. The Crystal Gardens can hold up to 150 people. Both outdoor gardens featured accent lighting, making your nuptials pop day or night. Prices typically start at $18,000 for a Saturday wedding, but can vary.

Outdoor ceremonies are popular at this lushly landscaped country club, with many couples opting to tie the knot under the pretty gazebo in the gardens. They have three separate ballrooms which can host parties of up to 500 with no dancing, or 400 with dancing, as well as as little as 50 guests. Their available packages include everything you could ask for, from a five-hour open bar to your choice of a crepe station, chocolate fountain or pastry table for dessert. They offer customized food stations, all-inclusive sit-down or buffet style packages (including special packages for Kosher and Indian Weddings.) Prices start at $98 per person with a $600 ceremony fee.

Philadelphia Country Club

Located on the Main Line, the Philadelphia Country Club is a historic venue with a lot of famous couples to boast about. (For one, Grace Kelly and Prince Rainer III of Monaco announced their engagement here, since her father John Kelly was a member of the Building Committee.) They have kept up their tradition of making couples feel like royalty. There is room for up to 350 people in their Grand Ballroom, which can be split into smaller rooms. You can have your ceremony outside on the terrace, featuring scenic views as far as the eye can see. Contact for pricing. 

Jericho National Golf Club

Located on Jericho Mountain, this golf club offers sweeping views of the Bucks Country countryside and historic Washington Crossing area. Their tree-lined fairways paired with their well-manicured greens brings the perfect backdrop for your ceremony. Wedding packages at Jericho are all-inclusive, giving you everything from five-hour house open bar, the wedding cake, and hors d’ oeuvres plus more included in the base price. Their all-inclusive packages start at $110 per person.

In the Brandywine Valley, the historic grounds of Radley Run offer several different locations for a classic wedding celebration. On site their is their Georgian-style Mansion House, which was built in 1770 and can be used for a rehearsal dinner or post-wedding brunch, as well as for photo opportunities. Their single-event banquet hall is ideal for an event, and the stone terrace, 100 year old stone archways, and mahogany bar make for a memorable cocktail hour and reception. Contact for pricing.

This West Chester club boasts rolling grounds featuring rock exteriors, tall trees, and a sparkling pond. They can host up to 220 seated guests in its ballroom, which offers panoramic views of their golf course, as well as access to a covered open-air deck. Their more intimate “Brandywine Room” is available for smaller celebrations as well, so they can accomodate a variety of sizes and styles of events. They offer standard all-inclusive wedding packages with optional add-ons like a specialty martini or whiskey bar or valet service. Contact for pricing.
