Guys, There’s Now a Champagne Vending Machine in Center City

Say hello to the Moët Mini-matic.

Last Thursday, the Ritz-Carlton Philadelphia launched what is likely about to become the most Instagrammed new spot in Center City this summer: a snazzy new champagne vending machine filled with mini bottles of Moët & Chandon.

The “Moët Mini-matic” is stocked with 350 and 200 milliliter splits of Brut Impérial and Rosé Impérial. To use the sophisticated contraption, guests go to the Ritz-Carlton’s Aqimero lobby bar, where, for $25, they can purchase a golden token to insert into the vending machine. Per a press release from the hotel, a robotic arm carefully lowers your chosen (and chilled!) bottle without shaking it during the delivery, so there won’t be any unexpected bursts upon opening.

Each mini bottle is sold with a shiny golden sipper, which can be placed on top of the bottle to make it easy to drink from — no straw or separate glass necessary.

Wedding-wise, mini bottles from the Ritz’s new champagne vending machine are perfect for everything from last-minute favors for your wedding party to a quick late-night cheers between you and your spouse as you head up to your newlywed suite. (Pair with an order of french fries for a delicious late-night snack.)

Beyond weddings, we predict everyone from your fave Philly influencers to 21st birthday guys and gals will be Instagramming about the machine through the foreseeable future. Like it or not, it’s just a little too cute to avoid.
