A Couple Got Married at the Taylor Swift Concert in Philly on Friday—Then They Met Her!

For one diehard Taylor Swift fan, the singer’s 1989 tour stop in Philly on Friday was more than just an opportunity to (once again) see her idol perform live: Katy Harris and her willing fiancé Chris Eisenmann made the occasion even more special by getting married right before heading into the show! (Like, literally, while standing in the parking lot at the Linc.)

It was a bit of a spur-of-the-moment decision for couple, who had to put off their original wedding which was planned for December 13th (Swift’s birthday) of last year. Since she already had a gown hanging in her closet, Harris decided that Friday’s concert was the perfect time to tie the knot. She and Eisenmann said “I do” in the parking lot at Lincoln Financial Field with a small group of family and friends in attendance.

The best part of the story, though, is that Swift’s mom, Andrea, found the couple in the crowd and brought them backstage to meet the singer after her performance.

Now that’s one for the wedding album.
