It’s Official: Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden Have Tied the Knot

While these kinds of reports certainly do not always turn out to be true, it appears that this time, at least, they were: Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden got married last night!

The wedding took place at their home, and it’s so true and official, they even issued a statement:

“We couldn’t be happier to begin our new journey together surrounded by our closest family and friends,” the couple tell PEOPLE.

There was a giant white tent, lots of white flowers, lots of twinkling lights—really pretty! Take a look at these aerial photos—and, obviously, lots of security. So who even knows if we’ll get to see a dress anytime soon—fingers crossed, because we’ve been wrong before!—but we trust that you will be waiting with us patiently to see what comes out. We can only imagine that it’ll be good.

PS: Would anyone else here just about kill to be a fly on the wall during the sister-in-law chats between Cam and Nicole Richie? Because, yes.
