PHOTO: Guys. They Are Letting Us See Angelina Jolie’s Wedding Dress! (And Lots More!)

Well, it’s not often that I’m happy to eat my own words, but in this case, I most definitely am!
In a shocking twist (and I’m not even exaggerating here; I actually seriously can’t believe they’re sharing their photos with the media), Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt shared photos and details from their wedding day with People magazine—just look at the cover! That’s her dress! (Note: I hastily scanned the write-up and then did, dear readers, attempt to go score an issue and include a few more photos in this post, but obviously, I did not see that it says it’s on newsstands on Wednesday.
Her Atelier Versace dress and veil included drawings done by all of the couple’s children—Luigi Massi, the head tailor for the house, sewed them in himself—and while lovely, is quite different than I would have ever imagined, I have to say. I think I would have guessed long sleeves for her? Something maybe more in this kind of silhouette?
Ah, well, guess I’ll have to wait until tomorrow for more explanation on that and everything else. But I did want you to know that it’s out there.
