It may be hard to believe right now—you know, as you’re knee deep in all of the excitement and joy that comes with planning your wedding—but post-wedding blues are most definitely a real thing and they can happen to any bride once the Big Day has come and gone. Planning your wedding is, after all, one of the most intense, thrilling times of your life, so sometimes brides find they feel a bit letdown once the whole process is over—or at the very least, not sure what to do with all their time that isn’t now filled with vendor meetings and shopping trips and hanging with family and friends.

We recently came across this article that breaks down the many reasons why post-wedding depression may creep up after you say “I Do.” And because we’ve actually touched on this topic in the past, too, and have gathered some awesome tips that will help you to avoid falling into a rut after tying the knot, we thought we’d share them again now.

Some of these pointers are our own, others are from Philly experts and a few are tidbits we’ve rounded from elsewhere, but they can all be extremely useful when you’re battling the blues. Take a look at our list, and then let us know if you have any additional tips of your own to add.
