Video: Four Guys Attack 13-Year-Old in Fairmount for iPhone

It happened in broad daylight.

Last Friday, a 13-year-old boy was walking by historic Eastern State Penitentiary on 22nd Street in the Fairmount section of Philadelphia when four teens attacked him and stole his iPhone.

According to police, the boy was attacked from behind by the group at around 3:45 p.m. He was probably walking home from school. Police say that one of the suspects took the boy by the neck and wrestled him to the ground, leading to injuries to his lip and left hand. Once he was on the ground, say police, the attackers took his iPhone and ran away.

The description released by police: “4 unknown black males approximately 14-16 years old wearing hooded sweatshirts and hooded jackets with three carrying backpacks.”
