John Bolaris Attacks “Classless” Angelo Cataldi on Twitter

The WIP windbag had the audacity to bring up the Storm of the Century.

On Tuesday morning, in the wake of the Great 2015 Blizzard of Philadelphia That Didn’t Happen, there was a lot of blame going around, including on 94-WIP, where host Angelo Cataldi was ranting and raving about all of the blown forecasts, which led to Mayor Michael Nutter unnecessarily canceling school, all city offices being unnecessarily closed, your trash not being picked up today — the list of inconveniences goes on, and on, and on.

Meteorologist John Bolaris couldn’t escape the crosshairs of Cataldi, who reminded his audience of The Storm of the Century, the Great 2001 Blizzard of Philadelphia That Didn’t Happen. Bolaris’ over-hyping of that storm made him the laughing stock of Philadelphia and pretty much chased him out of town.

We don’t know exactly what Cataldi said about Bolaris, since listening to that show is akin to having your fingernails forcibly extracted, but Bolaris — true to form — was quick to respond:

Don’t worry about Cataldi, John. A bigger buffoon in Philadelphia there is not. And that’s saying a lot.
