Cher Announces New Tour, and She’s Coming to Philly!

The Dark Lady will roll into the City of Brotherly Love on a tour to celebrate her 26th album.

This morning, following her performance on the Today Show, Cher, queen of the gays, pulled a big ol’ “sike” on the world when she announced that her last tour, “The Farewell Tour,” wasn’t really a farewell at all. Nope, she’s hitting the road again on a North American tour called “Dressed to Kill.” And you know she will be — like 8 or 12 times.

Is she coming to Philly, you ask.

Yes! The Cher train will roll into the Wells Fargo Center on April 28, and, set your alarms, tickets will go on sale Fri., Oct. 4 at noon via comcasttix.com (bookmark it) or by calling 1-800-298-4200 (set your speed dial).

The tour will celebrate The Dark Lady’s 26th solo album, Closer to the Truth, which drops tomorrow. Stay tuned to G Philly for a review by our resident Cher-o-phile, Michael Callahan. Until then, check the confirmed list of “Dressed to Kill” tour dates below:
