Millions of Moms Have Had it Up to Here with One Million Moms

One Texas mother is on a mission to put the infamous hate group in the corner.

One Million Moms (OMM) is made up of the absolute worst moms in the world. They’re hateful, they’re bigoted and they teach their kids to be intolerant of their fellow man. We’ve had to listen to them blab on and on for years about the ways in which homosexuality is ruining the world. For example, this week OMM started a campaign to protest Disney’ World’s 23rd-annual Gay Days, stupidly saying that, “homosexuals, bisexuals and transvestites will be at the Magic Kingdom … with the intent to expose and desensitize children to this lifestyle by same-sex couples holding hands, hugging and kissing.”

Thankfully, there are just as many moms out there who represent what being a good mom is really all about: spreading beautiful, unconditional love. In response to OMM’s actions, Darcy Christ, a heterosexual mother of two from Texas, has created a Facebook page, Millions of Moms for Love, that strives to save the reputation of mothers in the America that OMM is working so hard to tarnish.  “We will not stand silently while groups like One Million Moms or the American Family Foundation spread their anti-gay message,” says Christ. “A majority of American moms believe that every person has the right to love another person, same sex or not.” How fitting that her name is Christ, considering she’s spreading so much more of a divine-like message than OMM, a self-described “network of Christian moms and grandmothers taking a stand by letting our voice be heard.”

Right now, Millions of Moms for Love needs some help living up to its name. Currently, the Facebook page only has 616 likes. You can show your support and share it with your mom and friends and friends’ moms by clicking here. Let’s help spread the message that not every mother out there is a hanger-swinging Mommie Dearest like those One Million Mom devils.
