Woman Gets Kicked Off Plane for Singing Whitney Houston Songs

Didn't anyone tell her that you should never sing Whitney in public?

There are a few things in life we’ve learned to avoid at all costs: drinking beer before liquor, don’t walk down dark alleys alone and, unless you’ve got the chops, you should never, ever attempt a Whitney Houston song in public. It can apparently get you kicked off planes

While on an American Airlines Flight from Los Angeles to JFK, a young passenger suddenly began belting Whitney songs at the top of her lungs. When she refused to stop, the flight crew was forced to deem her a threat and had to make an emergency landing in Kansas City. There was even an air marshall on board who, according to a spokesperson for the Kansas City International Airport, “subdued the woman and put her in cuffs and removed her from the plane.”

But, like a true diva, she didn’t leave without a grand exit. The above video captures her being escorted away while she belts “I Will Always Love You.”

And while we’re on the topic of Whitney, I thought it was fitting to attach the below video of a geisha’d-out Martha Graham Cracker performing a much-more-appropriate cover of the late gay icon’s last Thursday at L’Etage. Martha, I’m told, rarely covers Whitney, so you’re in for a special treat.
