(Shocking) Video: Man Throws Woman Onto SEPTA Tracks


On Tuesday afternoon, a man and a women found themselves alone in the Chinatown SEPTA station at Race and 8th. The man asked the woman for a lighter, then grabbed her leg, dragging her all the way to the edge of the platform, before throwing her off. She survived, and sustained only minor cuts and bruises. He was found two days later at 15th and JFK carrying her cellphone, and has been charged with aggravated assault and other charges. SEPTA released the video today. [ABC 6]

Update: The man who was caught, 37-year-old Southwest Philadelphia resident William Clark, has a lengthy criminal history and appears to be mentally unstable.
