Made in America Brought $10 Million of Spending to Philly

Financial details of the Made in America festival that brought Jay-Z and all of his famous friends to the Benjamin Franklin Parkway for Labor Day weekend have been released. The two-day concert cost Philly $505,124 for extra police, sanitation, and other related expenses. That tab has been paid, in full, by the concert’s promoter, Live Nation. Plus, a Philly-based consulting firm estimates that the show brought $10 million worth of spending to the city over the holiday weekend. And that doesn’t include tickets or concessions. [Inquirer]
