Bradley Cooper’s Silver Linings Oscar Buzz

Bradley Cooper and Oscars have officially been mentioned in the same sentence. It’s been happening repeatedly since his The Silver Linings Playbook premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on Saturday. The movie was shot in Philly last year and has a serious Eagles connection. It stars Cooper, Jennifer Lawrence and Robert De Niro. Silver Linings is receiving extremely positive reviews (97 percent on Rotten Tomatoes) and has generated some real—albeit early—Oscar buzz. It probably serves as a nice balance for Cooper since The Words tanked over the weekend. [L.A. Times]
