Always Sunny Returns in October

Dennis, Dee, Mac, Charlie and the whole gang from It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia are finally returning to your television this fall. FX announced on Tuesday that the show’s eighth (!) season premieres at 10 p.m. Oct. 11. For the sake of perspective, consider this: The Andy Griffith Show also ran eight seasons before its namesake left Mayberry. But clearly there are some differences: One sitcom featured great stars playing bizarre people who routinely make you cringe with their foolishness. The other is It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
