Chris Christie’s Family Voted for the Governor to Pass on a Run for President
A recent Newsweek feature on Chris Christie reveals a vote at the governor’s dinner table in New Jersey may have been one of—if not the—most important vote linked to the 2012 presidential election. Governor Christie had asked his family whether or not they wanted him to run for president. They all said that they’d support him if he wanted to run, but none of them actually wanted him to take a shot at it. So, Christie decided to wait. Now—amid speculation that he might make a good running mate for GOP candidate Mitt Romney—some think that Christie may have missed his opportunity at the White House. [Newsweek]
