Tell Gaga Where to Donate

The pop star is asking fans to vote on where one-million charity dollars end up

Lady Gaga never lets a press opportunity pass her by. That may be why she’s asking fans to vote on which charity should receive the one-million dollars she’s pledged to donate this year. The gay-friendly singer partnered with the Robin Hood Foundation to give away the money to five different non-profit organizations that assist homeless or at-risk gay youth.

You heard it right – Gaga is giving away some of the money her gay fans spend at her concerts – and not just for more prosthetics and a giant egg.

The organizations set to receive the funds include The Door, Hetrick-Martin Institute, Lawyers for Children, Safe Horizon and SCO Family Services.

Fans have the opportunity to vote for who deserves the biggest cut of the million smackers. The organization with the most votes on Facebook will receive $500,000, followed by increments of $200,000, $150,000, $100,000 and $50,000, respectively.

The results will be announced during a benefit concert in New York on May 9. According to the most recent votes, The Door is in the running for the grand prize, followed closely by SCO Family Services. But you could change all that by simply logging onto Gaga’s Facebook page to have your say before this chick hatches.
