What To Do Tonight

Victor's Picks for Monday: Meatballs, cheese, and a British tart

It’s hard to take life very seriously after such a glorious, sundrenched weekend. To continue with the frivolity, some suggestions for the evening: I’ll be checking out chart-topping British tart Florence Welch and her Machine – I’m partial to the gal’s slap-happy 2008 debut single “Kiss With a Fist” – at the TLA ($23); Sara Sherr moves her always-a-blast Monday night Sing For Your Life Karaoke party (hence the cheese) from the Khyber to much more comfy new gay sports bar Tabu; the Troc screens the now-available-on-DVD Sherlock Holmes (of course, you may wonder, why not just rent?); and, if you’re hungry and thirsty, it’s Meatball Monday at the London!
