Whether you prefer an après-ski experience or some time on the slopes, you’ll want to look and feel your best when winter arrives next month. These local boutiques and brands will help you weather the season in style.

For your jacket

Luxury winter-wear brand Canada Goose opened a boutique at King of Prussia in September. Here, you’ll find the new Clair line of quilted women’s coats and vests that accentuate your figure. The brand’s Thermal Experience Index helps you decide which item is best for your needs, from lightweight to extreme.

For your hat

Keep your head warm with a beanie from sustainable knitwear brand Allen Paca. Founded in 2019 by West Chester’s Robert Kedra, the company uses undyed alpaca fibers, which are naturally insulating, odor-resistant and hypoallergenic. The beanies bear a cute visage of the furry critter on their rim.

For your bag

Conshohocken handbag brand Jurgi is adding a fuzzy Lili design that’s perfect for après-ski drinks. The canvas bag features a top exterior flap in sherpa, a synthetic yarn that resembles sheep’s wool.

For your skin

Center City-based Dviniti Skin Care’s Cloud-9 Calming Moisturizer is a must. Oils for the face and body are made with natural ingredients such as refreshing avocado and calming aloe vera and copaiba — which evens and conditions rough skin texture — and should be applied at night.

For your lips

Pick up an herbal lip balm by Terra Luna. The Northeast Philly wellness company uses locally grown calendula and lemon balm, plus natural oils, to heal tender spots and provide protection when you’re gliding downhill.
