Ocean City voters turned out to polls yesterday and shot down a bring-your-own-bottle referendum by a 2-1 margin. It was a resounding defeat for Friends of Shop, Dine & Play in Ocean City, the pro-BYOB group that hoped the change would encourage more people to dine out in the family-friendly beach town.
