Starr-Maddox BBQ Tomorrow
The 9th annual Stephen Starr-Garry Maddox Barbecue Challenge is set for tomorrow from 4 to 7pm at Citizens Bank Park. The Challenge takes place on the west side of the ballpark, Citizens Park Way and admission is free. Sampling tickets are available, 3 tickets for $15 with a donation going to Garry Maddox’s Youth Golf & Academics Program (YGAP).
Judging is done by a host of Phillies alumni  as well as local restaurateurs Kevin Sbraga from Bravo’s Top Chef, Stink Fisher of the Pop Shop and Tony Luke.

Raffle tickets for a chance to win a Jimmy Rollins autographed bat, a Roy Halladay autographed ball, STARR Restaurant gift certificates, a Mitchell & Ness 1980 Tug McGraw jersey, a weekend stay at Loews Center City hotel, and more, will also be available in the contest area.
Last year, a record $67,000 was raised for YGAP.
