Eagles linebacker Nigel Bradham was reportedly arrested over the weekend in Miami after bringing a loaded gun in an airport. He was charged with a second degree misdemeanor for a concealed weapon, and was later released on bond.

The Eagles released the following statement:

We are aware of the report regarding Nigel Bradham. We have been in communication with Nigel and the authorities regarding the situation. As it is a pending legal matter, we will have no further comment at this time.

Bradham allegedly had the loaded gun in his backpack when TSA discovered the weapon in an X-ray machine.

Bradham didn’t mention his recent incident when he addressed reporters today. He did say he has a hearing on Wednesday for his previous arrest, which dates back to July.

Bradham and several of his friends were accused of beating an employee at the Hilton Bentley hotel in Miami. The victim suffered cuts and lacerations, including one to the back of his head. Bradham reportedly struck the victim in the nose. He had a preliminary hearing back in August.
