This past weekend, Stride Spin & Fitness dropped some big news on their Instagram. No, they’re not forming a girl band, despite the fact that their announcement is pretty much an EDM music video (we’re here for it).

Drum roll, please… they’re opening a studio at the Jersey Shore!

This May, Stride is bringing their rhythmic spin classes to Sea Isle City, with a 2,500-square-foot studio featuring 30 bikes. The exact location is hush-hush for now, but Stride told us it’s in the heart of town near Ocean Drive and LaCosta, giving shore-goers an opportunity to get in a sweat sesh before soaking up the sun or, ya know, hitting up no shower happy hour.

Stride opened their doors in Phoenixville two years ago, mainly due to co-owner Tori DeSimone’s beauty vlogging success on YouTube. Since then, DeSimone has been finding ways for Stride to grow, including adding more classes, training new instructors, and even starting a Stride podcast. This past December, she was approached by an instructor at a spin marathon about opening a studio down the shore. The very next day, DeSimone hit the road to scout real estate opportunities, and now, three months later, it’s actually happening.

DeSimone chose Sea Isle not only because it’s her favorite beach, but to give the Stride community an opportunity to honor their fitness and wellness while on vacation in a laid-back beach town. “I’ve always loved visiting Sea Isle in the summer, but my workout routine used to suffer because the town lacks a spin studio,” DeSimone says. “I know the Stride community will grow and thrive in such a happy environment like Sea Isle.”

The studio’s opening date has yet to be solidified, but DeSimone is aiming for Memorial Day Weekend, which would be a stellar start to the summer season. Check Stride’s Instagram to stay up-to-date on all the details!
