Our Latest BWP Underground Event Included a Full-Body Rhythmlab Workout and Açaí Bowls

Our BWP Underground Rhythmlab event included an intense 45-minute workout, followed by treats from our friends at Caviar.

Look, if we had it our way, we’d spend every Tuesday night exactly like we did last night. Unfortunately, our BWP Underground events only happen once a month — but man, are then fun!

In case you’re not familiar with the series, BWP Underground is Be Well Philly‘s monthly, FREE pop-up fitness series, sponsored by Independence Blue Cross. While these events are kept a secret until right before they happen, we send an email to all of our BWP Underground members a few days beforehand so they can sign up. Want to get the email alerts? But anyways, back to our dreamiest of all dreamy Tuesday nights. The evening started off with a kick-peach-emoji workout at Independence Live, led by Jackie Dragone, the founder of Rhythmlab. It. Was. Intense. The 45-minute sweat session warmed up with a three-minute plank series. (Yeah, like we said, intense.)

Thankfully, after we were done working (and mopping up the sweat from our mats), our partners at Caviar were ready to help us cool down and refuel with sweet, fruity, delicious açaí bowls from SoBol. Does anything taste better than whipped up fruit topped with more fruit, coconut, and honey after a workout? No, we don’t think so either.

Finally, we wrapped up the night by giving away a portable stereo, thanks to our partners at Verizon, and a free class pass to the next Rhythmlab pop-up. Caviar also had tote bags with goodies for all attendees. Because what’s a party without giveaways?

If you’re sad you missed this event, we have good news: You can totally get in on our November event by signing up for our BWP Underground alerts here. See you at the next one!
