Puppies are some of the most marvelous beings on this planet — they’re furry, excitable and oh-so cuddle-y — which is why experiences like puppy yoga are such can’t-miss events. To add a little bit more puppy love to your fitness life, Body Cycle Studio has teamed up with The Monster Milers to bring a revolutionary puppy-filled fundraising fitness event: Ride, Run and Rescue (AKA: puppy spin!).

On Saturday, April 14, Body Cycle Studio (1923 Chestnut Street) will be hosting two back-to-back classes — at 11:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. — led by a pair of their expert instructors Jess Sullivan and Russel Carter for two 45-minute Bodyrocker rides that will directly benefit The Monster Milers. The Monster Milers — if you don’t already know from our adoptable running dog posts — are a volunteer rescue organization that takes in furry friends from a bunch of local rescues like PAWS, Street Tails and ACCT, fosters them, runs with them, and of course loves them.

All levels of spinners are welcome at this puppy-filled event. It’s $25 for each class — which you can sign up for here — and will benefit The Monster Milers’ efforts. The Monster Milers will be bring a herd of pups with them to the event for some post-workout snugs (and inspiration for adoptions, if you’re in the market!).

In addition to a great workout and some wet-nosed kisses, Body Cycle will be raffling off some pretty sweet donated items from local businesses — we heard talk of a Chloe Bag from Barney’s … Eeeeek! Plus, a 60-minute Orange Cryo session, a baylage and cut at Architeq Salon, a blow out from Blo/Out Blow Dry Bar, and more to come.

Here’s to more puppy-filled fitness events in Philly!
