Guys, guys, guys: Good news! Solidcore, the D.C. import known for its muscle-burning workouts done on a reformer-like machine in a club-like atmosphere (hi, dark room with blue lighting paired with VERY loud Top-40 beats), is opening its third Philly outpost in Rittenhouse this summer. And this just in: We’ve got details on the opening date. Drumroll, please …

They tell us they’ll be opening the doors to the new studio, located at 2116 Chestnut Street, on Saturday, July 22nd. Say it with us: YAYYYYYY.

The studio, which I’ve noticed is a favorite of a lot of fitness trainers I talk to (guessing that’s thanks to its intensity — mid-workout grunts are a totally normal occurrence), opened its first two Philly locations, one in Bryn Mawr and one in Washington Square West, last year. To celebrate the opening of the new studio, they’ve got a few specials going right now: For new-to-Solidcore folks, they have founders memberships available for the Rittenhouse studio, which get you unlimited classes at $199 per month (this saves you around $60 per month), and they also have discounted class packs, open to everyone. You can learn more about those specials here.

Now, here’s to building a set of abs even Beyoncé would envy whilst listening to Beyoncé. (Talk about motivation.)
