Flywheel Just Announced Some BIG News

If you prefer to sweat solo, you’ll be pleased.

Flywheel Philadelphia

Flywheel, the indoor-cycling studio company with two Philly outposts, just announced a BIG addition to their offerings, slated to debut by the end of the year.

As Forbes reports, the company, which has 42 locations total, announced yesterday that it plans to start selling an at-home spinning bike and video-streaming service, á la Peloton, by the end of the year. Like their current in-studio workouts — which come complete with leaderboards that show you how you stack up against others in the class, and post-workout stats that show you how you performed — they say their at-home service will cater to the “person who’s very competitively minded.” The class-streaming service will allow users to stream both live classes from a studio in New York’s Lincoln Square and on-demand classes. The price for the bikes and service have yet to be announced.

Okay, your move, SoulCycle.
