Back in October, we told you guys that it looked like Daybreaker — a big early-morning yoga-and-dance party, complete with cold-pressed juice and almond-milk coffee to rehydrate with (heavenly, right?) — had its sights set on Philly for an event. The only catch: Philly folks who wanted the party to come needed to make their wants known to Daybreaker before they’d take the plunge.

Well, guys, you did good: Yesterday, the folks from Daybreaker, which holds regular Daybreaker parties in 15 cities around the world, sent out an email saying that a whopping 3,000 Philadelphians made their needs for a sunrise savasana and booty-popping session known, and they’ve officially decided to give us what we want. Say it with me: YAYYYYYYYYY!

They’ve yet to name a date or venue for Philly’s first Daybreaker event, but in the email, they say they’re looking for performers, dancers and DJs who are interested in getting in on the action. If you’re one of those folks, shoot them an email here to let them know you want to get involved. And if you just want to get your downward dog on then dance — the events kick off with an hour-long early-morning yoga class, followed by two hours of pre-work dancing — stay tuned for a date.
