If you’re a fan of free outdoor fitness classes in iconic Philly locales, listen up and listen good: The Oval’s Wellness Wednesdays kick off this Wednesday, July 22nd and they’re offering a slew of free classes that span the afternoon and evening. The best part? Almost every class — yoga! kickboxing! dance! — is free, and there will be food trucks lined up nearby all day, including the beloved Robeks Fresh Juices and Smoothies. Ah-mazing, right?

This Wednesday’s programming starts with gentle baby-and-me yoga class for new moms at 11 a.m. Then, at 6 p.m., Fairmount’s soon-to-open Yoga Habit will be leading a more invigorating power yoga class, all levels welcome. Also at 6, House Party Fitness is hosting one of its signature cardio hip-hop classes that sounds like a great way to get re-energize after a long day at work. And for those of you who want to take advantage of our city’s new bike share program but aren’t yet savvy on two wheels, the folks behind Indego are hosting a learn-to-ride class from 6 to 8 p.m. for adults. The evening finishes off with all-levels cardio kickboxing at 7 p.m. presented by CKO Kickboxing Center City. The only classes that aren’t free are the Indego classes, which are $10 for adults and $20 for youth. I repeat: Ah-mazing, right?

Wellness Wednesdays will run through August 19th and the classes vary a little bit from week to week, so be sure to check the calendar before you head over. And one thing to note: There will also be two Indego classes for youth on July 29th and August 12th.
