One of my coworkers went to an acupuncturist for the first time the other day and when I asked her how it was she simply repeated the words “life-changing” over and over again with a happy grin on her face. So if you’d like to get in on the life-changing action, too, here’s your chance to do so without emptying your wallet: Next Tuesday, June 23rd, acupuncturists Laura Hawley and Heather Shultz, the ladies of Open City Healing Arts, are hosting an Acupuncture Wellness Hour at their Center City office where folks can swing through for a free treatment.

The Wellness Hour (which is really more like 90 minutes) will run from 5 to 6:30 p.m. and anyone is welcome. Hawley and Shultz will be giving treatments in an open room and they’ll also be answering any question folks have about how poking tiny needles into your skin can make you feel better. Because, for some, it’s a somewhat difficult concept to grasp.

The Open City Healing Arts office is located at 1315 Walnut Street and you can secure your spot for a free treatment next Tuesday by signing up here. Note: If there is room, walk-ins without tickets will be able to get their acupuncture on as well.
