Uncle Dave’s Jog ‘n Hog ice cream run will return this summer for a fourth go-round, bringing ice cream lovers from around the region to Yardley’s Shady Brook Farm for a three(ish)-mile run featuring an ice-cream stop at the halfway mark.

The run, which we named among the best local runs for foodies, will be held on National Ice Cream Day (of course) on Sunday, July 19th. Runners will hoof it about a mile and a half before coming to the ice cream stop, where they’ll down either a quart (Whole Hog Division) or a pint (Half Hog Division) of Uncle Dave’s vanilla ice cream. Then they’ll head back to the starting area with, well, pretty full stomachs.

Registration for the run opens on February 2nd, with early-bird pricing set at $31 for the Whole Hogger and $29 for the Half Hogger. Registration will happen here.
