Good news for Lithe Method Rittenhouse regulars. The studio at 255 South 17th Street—where the cardio cheer sculpting classes are so popular, they often have wait lists—is moving and expanding. But don’t reset your GPS just yet: Lithe’s director of operations Melissa Weinberg tells me they’re staying in the Medical Tower building but will be moving from the fourth to the second floor, to the soon-to-be-vacated Rescue Rittenhouse space. (Rescue is just moving, not closing for good, FYI. They’re headed over to 1601 Walnut; date TBD.)

The new space means outdoor signage, so it’ll be a bit easier to find for newbies, plus more square footage, two mat rooms and upgraded locker rooms (including steam showers!).

“Doubling our mat rooms will definitely help cut back on the waitlists for our Rittenhouse Lithers, as we will be able to offer two classes at once during prime times,” Melissa says.

There’s no official date yet attached to the move, but Melissa says it would happen around the New Year at the earliest.
