To Do: Broadway Lights Dance Workshop

Philly Dance Fitness will put you on center stage.

Since we all can’t be Tony Award-winning Broadway starlets (I know—it’s not fair), there’s this: a Philly Dance Fitness workshop called Broadway Lights on March 24th. At the hour-and-a-half-long class led by PDF’s Kathy Silverstri, you’ll learn a performance-worthy dance to tunes from big-stage hits like “Little Shop of Horrors,” “Book of Mormon,” “West Side Story,” “Sister Act,” and “Mama Mia!”. No prior dance or theater experience is necessary—you can make the moves as simple or challenging as you want with a little flourish—but the workshop is recommended for those 13 and up. Oh and singing along is highly encouraged. More details are here.

$12 in advance, $15 day of; Saturday, March 24th from 12:30 to 2 p.m., the Performance Garage, 1515 Brandywine Street.
