Franklin Square Offering “No Ticket, No Problem” Promotion During Papal Visit

If you didn’t get your Papal tickets, Franklin Square says no worries.

The popular park, located at 6th and Race Streets, has just announced that they are having a special “No Ticket, No Problem” promotion throughout the Papal visit. The park will be installing giant jumbotron screens to broadcast live Papal events throughout September 26 and 27. They’ll open their doors starting at 9 am and plan on closing at 8 pm both days, but will stay open until programming concludes.

Best of all? The park is located outside of the security zone for the events being held on Independence Mall. Guests are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets.

In addition to the jumbotrons, Franklin Square offers an important thing: restrooms. Also, Starr’s SquareBurger will be serving goodies and there will be a Pope gift shop, along with the regular attractions, including two playgrounds, carousel, and mini-golf.

You can find out more about the park by visiting their webpage. Also, they suggest that you follow them on Twitter for up-to-the-minute updates.
