DO THIS: Battle Of The Burger 2014

Diehard carnivores, rejoice: Philadelphia magazine’s second annual Battle of the Burger is almost here.

Battle of the Burger began with an online voting competition where the public cast votes for their favorite burger from over 50 restaurants. Now, the top 20 finalists will move on to battle it out at the main event, where one restaurant’s masterpiece will be crowned the best in Philly.

You can join us at the Piazza at Schmidt’s for the final throw-down: the ultimate cook-off where guests can enjoy unlimited samples of all 20 burgers (!), sip Amstel Light, and cast a vote for their favorite contender. There will be music, games, and activities to enjoy, as well, if you can fight off the inevitable food coma.

Only one restaurant will be dubbed home of the best burger, and rest assured, this is not your standard patty–on–a–bun situation. The finalists, which include Keg & Kitchen, Davio’s, Smith’s Restaurant and Bar, and Rex 1516, have perfected their recipes and added ridiculously delicious toppings. A full list of the finalists and descriptions of each mouthwatering creation can be found right here.

Tickets, which are $50 each, are available for purchase online. Tickets will also be available same day at the door, for $60. For more information about Battle of the Burger, click here.
