HughE Dillon One-Shot: Flyers Go Bowling

Zac Rinaldo and company trade ice for strikes at NoLibs fundraiser

The star power play was in full force last night in Northern Liberties as Flyers players Ian Laperriere, Zac Rinaldo and Harry Zolnierczyk bowled in the Claddagh Fund’s Celebrity Rock-n-Bowl tournament. The Claddagh Fund was created by rocker Ken Casey, of the Dropkick Murphys, to raise money for the most underfunded non-profit organizations that support vulnerable populations. The foundation, which originated in Boston, is expanding its efforts to Philly. All money raised here will stay in the community. Last night’s event supported Stand Up For Kids and the Limen House. Others out supporting the good cause included boxer Micky Ward, Colleen Wolfe, update anchor at Sports Radio 94 WIP (and someone Philly Mag names as a “local we’d like to see naked” in its new December issue), John Gonzalez, CSN Philly, Samantha Trasatti, Hell’s Kitchen contestant Jason Santos, and Kevin Chapman, star of CBS’s Person of Interest.
