Coquito

A traditional Puerto Rican treat, Coquito means “little coconut.” Mix up a batch ahead of time to make hosting a little sweeter this season.

6 egg yolks

½ tsp ground cinnamon, plus more for garnish

4 Tbsp vanilla extract

1 14-oz can sweetened condensed milk

5 12-oz cans evaporated milk

1 10-oz can unsweetened coconut milk

1 14-oz can sweetened cream of coconut

4 ¼ c Bacardí Rum

Cinnamon sticks

In a medium bowl, whisk egg yolks until smooth. Whisk in cinnamon and vanilla. Stir in next five ingredients. Taste and adjust cinnamon and vanilla if desired. Blend well and strain through a fine sieve or cheesecloth. Pour into clean bottles. Serve chilled and garnished with ground cinnamon and a cinnamon stick.

½ oz D.O.M. B&B Bénédictine Liqueur

½ oz pomegranate juice

Chandon Brut

6 fresh raspberries, plus 2 for garnish

1 mint sprig

Muddle raspberries with first two ingredients in a shaker. Shake and double strain into a chilled flute glass. Top with sparkling wine. Garnish with skewered raspberries and mint sprig.

½ oz Jacquin’s Apricot Flavored Brandy

½ oz fresh lemon juice

½ oz simple syrup

Barefoot Bubbly Pink Moscato

1 rosemary sprig

Combine first three ingredients in a shaker filled with ice. Shake and strain into a chilled coupe glass. Top with sparkling wine. Garnish with rosemary sprig.
