Shoppist Instagram Roundup: How We Hibernated This Winter

It’s been a busy fall/winter over here at Shoppist, and we’ve documented it all on Instagram (follow us, won’t you?). Here’s a snapshot of what we’ve been up to: we turned one (yay!), we hosted our second Philly Mag Shops event (which included gorgeous handmade tents by Maggpie Vintage Rentals), and we feted the openings of Century 21 (with shoe purchases) and Timberland (more shoes). We kicked off more Shoppist After Hours events, chatted with Brett Heyman, the oh-so-cool woman behind Edie Parker bags, and hosted an event with Brent Celek, the guy behind lifestyle brand REVISIT (oh, and he’s also an Eagles player). 

We helped launch Bus Stop’s first shoe capsule collection (those are my ‘Audrey’ oxfords — LOVE), and celebrated the best of spring fashion (which you can see right now in our March issue!). I got a piece of jewelry named after me (that’s the ‘Emily’ necklace)! But more importantly, we wrote about the coolest shops in Philly, like Occasionette on East Passyunk (that’s a pic of the shop decked out for the holidays!). Oh, and I kept track of everything I bought for an entire year — and shared the final tally with you (and the list included spiky earrings and the best pair of black pants ever). Voila! Here’s to spring!
