That’s why helpful advice on the sorts of things make for a great wedding speech—and the sorts of things that one must avoid at all costs in order to deliver a funny, touching, charming, lovely and not at all offensive or cringe-worthy toast are really always worth repeating.
That’s why we thought these tips on giving a wedding toast—and specifically, what to not say while giving a wedding toast—were well worth the look. Speech-givers: You may think you’re keeping it lighthearted, but if the ill-advised “joke” you decide to go with falls on offended ears, you’d be better off just going with sweet and serious.
