Two June Bridal Events (Vintage Accessories! Champagne! Registry!) at Scarlett Alley in Old City

This upcoming weekend brings with it two pretty fab bridal events happening at a pretty fab shop in Old City.

It’s Scarlett Alley, the adorable home, gift, registry and bridal accessory boutique whose praises we have sung many a time in the magazine and on this blog.

First up on Saturday, June 8 from 2-5pm is a trunk show event for local designer Tanna Paradis’s line, LoveHonorUpcycle. She takes vintage fabrics, rhinestones, and other goodies and treasures and turns them into gorgeous bridal headpieces, jewelry and accessories. She can even customize pieces if you bring her pretty little scraps that you’d like to see incorporated into something you can wear on your wedding day. And of course, there will be champagne, cocktails and cupcakes—and discounts when you purchase three pieces or more (hello, bridesmaids).

The next day on June 9th from 12-4pm is their quarterly and well-loved Bridal Beer Brunch event, which gives couples the chance to come in, drink some drinks, meet owners Liz and Gary (who will feed you beer, of course) and take a look at the shop’s unique registry offerings from great brands like Mariposa, Roost, Sabre, Vietri and Two’s Company. There are also extra goodies and giveaways to be had.
