LGBTQ Event of the Week: Sweet Liberation Bake Sale

Plus other awesome events worthy of your attendance.

Sweet Liberation is Friday, March 30th at William Way LGBT Community Center.

This week’s LGBTQ event of the week is Sweet Liberation Bake Sale. Come out and support the work of the Black and Brown Workers Cooperative as they collaborate with the Gran Varones Project for a fundraiser that has treats for all. There will be traditional, vegan, and gluten-free cookies, brownies, cakes and more from Fakira Bakery, Community Supported Kitchen, and other community groups. There is a sliding-scale price of $3 to $8 for the baked goods and guests are encouraged to either do a drop-in purchase or hang out and learn more about the benefitting organizations. The event kicks off on Friday, March 30th, at 11 a.m. at William Way LGBT Community Center, 1315 Spruce Street.
