Philly Cop Gets Arrested After Football Game in Houston

In 2011, Philly was ranked #1 and #2 on GQ‘s “The Worst Sports Fans in America” ranking. It didn’t help our rep when a group of Flyers fans pummeled an ex-Marine last year outside Geno’s–another tired embodiment of Philly’s insecurity-laden bravado. Eager for more publicity, a Philly cop got himself arrested in Houston after a football game this weekend, apparently for pushing another cop. Not content to get drunk and lash out authority figures (and their 11 year-old daughters) at home, Philly’s worst fans have officially commenced a nationwide road show in an attempt to confirm everybody’s pre-conceived, two-dimenstional idea of what it means to be from Philly.
