Developer Looks to Buy the Divine Lorraine

Developer Eric Blumenfeld (the guy who revitalized North Broad Street) will reportedly look to purchase the Divine Lorraine on North Broad at a Sheriff’s sale in October. Blumenfeld’s plan is to turn the former hotel into market-rate housing and commercial space. Apparently our idea to turn the place into a giant laser-tag arena. Someone wanted to merge a bunch of schools (including Mastermann) there. Local street artists Get Up and Lies turned the place into a photography studio. But, alas, it’s probably just going to be market-rate housing. Womp, womp. [Inquirer]
