Philly’s Direwolf Captured in the Northeast

A wolf-Alaskan malamute mix that has been roaming Philly’s Pennypack Park was reportedly captured overnight. The animal was purchased in Florida as a pet and escaped back in March after its owners traveled to Pennsylvania. It had eluded capture for weeks as officials at the Game Commission gave pretty much everything but dynamite food a try. [Inquirer]
