Penn State Students Gather Amid Reports of Joe Paterno’s Death

CBS Sports reported earlier that former Penn State football coach Joe Paterno died at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College tonight. SB Nation updated its own similar report with a denial from the Paterno family spokesman. (Shortly after Paterno was fired by the university in November in the midst of the scandal involving allegations of sex abuse against Jerry Sandusky, he was diagnosed with lung cancer.)
