NBC’s First Fall Lineup Under Comcast

The Scoop's keeping score on just how well our local cable provider plays the big TV game

The fall TV season isn’t even a full month old yet, and NBC’s The Playboy Club has already gotten the axe, unable to live past a third episode. The network also ordered full seasons of new sitcoms Whitney and Up All Night. They have six new shows yet to premiere and three shows that haven’t been handed a verdict yet. So, with two green lights and one cancellation, the network’s 2011 record is 2-1 with nine games (Are You There Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea, Awake, Bent, Best Friends Forever, The Firm, Free Agents, Grimm, Prime Suspect and Smash) left on the schedule. [NBC]
