SI.com to Stream “Battle of I-95” at the Palestra
Pro basketball lives! Kind of.
On Sunday evening, many of the NBA’s mega-stars will make their way to Philadelphia to sully up the Palestra with over-hyped dunks, unnecessary trick passes and absentee defense—pretty much the exact opposite of the type of fundamental basketball the storied arena is known for. Carmelo Anthony, LeBron James, Chris Paul and others will be in town for the “Battle of I-95” which will pit them against a Philly-bred team of Wayne Ellington, Hakim Warrick and others. Sports Illustrated has announced that it will stream the event live on SI.com. So, if Sunday’s late NFL games are a little lopsided, feel free to tune into SI.com to watch a bunch of marginal pro ballers with local roots get posterized by future Hall of Famers.
