Thing: Bronzing
In all sincerity: Come here often? Every weekend, and on days I take off. I come in when it opens at 10 a.m. and stay till 7 p.m.
Do you ever use the lounge chairs? I like this because your arms and legs are in the water, so you’re cool the whole time.
How much actual swimming happens in the pool? None. It’s only four feet deep, and when it’s really warm, people just go in the water and hang out.
What number mimosa is that? Probably number four. On Saturdays and Sundays, you get one food item and it’s all-you-can-drink mimosas and Bloody Marys from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Ever break the “no diving” rule? No. Again, it’s only four feet deep, so you’d have to be really stupid to do that.
How will you spend your Saturdays when summer’s over? It’s open until mid-October, so I’ll probably go as long as it’s warm. I’m not sure how it’ll affect football, though. You can’t see the TV from the sunny section, so I probably won’t go on football days. —Annie Monjar
