Autism Cares 5K, November 7, 2009
The Autism Cares Foundation was founded by the parents of a child with autism and other concerned parents, professionals, and friends. On November 7th, raise money to help kids with Autism and take part in the Autism Care 5K Run/Walk and Kids Fun Run. T-shirts will be given to all racers who register before October 25th while supplies last.

Where: Tyler State Park , 101 Swamp Road, Newtown
Time: Kids Run, 9:30 a.m.; 5KRun/Walk, 10:00 a.m.
Cost: 5K $20 if postmarked by October 25th, $25 after, including day of race; Kids’ Run $10 if postmarked by October 25th, $15 after, including day of the race.

Muscle Team Challenge, November 7, 2009
Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) will hold its Fourth-Annual Muscle Team Challenge: Rally for Research in the city of Philadelphia.  This half marathon or 5K family fun walk will include live music and food throughout the day.

Type: Run/ Walk
Where: Lloyd Hall, Boathouse Row, Kelly Drive, Philadelphia
Time: Registration, 8:00 a.m.; Start 9:00 a.m.
Cost: Participants must raise $170 in donations; Children ages 12 and under must raise $85

Fourth-Annual Brandon W. Boger Memorial 5K/Walk, November 7, 2009
In 2005, Brandon W. Boger of Buckingham passed away due to fatal injuries from a car crash. The Brandon W. Boger Memorial Foundation’s mission is to provide, in Brandon’s memory, charitable assistance to the greater Central Bucks Community and a venue for participation in community service by those who exhibit an unwavering, indomitable spirit and a desire to help others in need. This 5K run/walk benefits Doylestown Hospital and the Emergency Department Expansion Project.

2009 Start! Philadelphia Heart Walk, November 14, 2009
With over 5,000 people expected to attend the 2009 Start! Philadelphia Heart Walk, you can contribute to raising awareness and funds to support the American Heart Association’s mission to build healthier lives free of cardiovascular disease and stroke. The event is a non-competitive 3-mile walk with an option to walk 1.5 miles.

Where: Citizens Bank Park, 1 Citizens Bank Way, Philadelphia
Time: 8:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m.
Cost: Walk for donations

Media Mud Stain, November 15, 2009
The trails at Ridley Creek are as scenic as they are challenging. Runners will fight their way through rooty, rocky, muddy ground and just a little pavement. This 5K rollercoaster ride of a loop is one of the best trail systems in PA.
